Blogathon poll: What blogging basics do you want to learn?

Yesterday’s #blog2011 chat about the 2011 WordCount Blogathon went well, extremely well, with close to 20 people participating.

People used the chat to ask questions about a lot of blogging basics: how many times a week to post (when they’re not doing the blogathon of course), the best time of day to post, how to get more comments, how to drive more traffic to a site – all good stuff.

As a result, I’ve decided to devote the posts I write during the blogathon to covering the basics. I’ll be including new posts and referring to posts on blogging basics that I’ve run in the past. Either way, I hope to provide a lot of useful information.

That’s where you come in. I want to provide information readers want, regardless of whether you’re participating in the blogathon. So tell me, what blogging basics should I write about during May? Let me know by taking this poll. I’ll publish the results next week when the blogathon begins.

Michelle, I love your blog and I always learn so much. I’ll be hanging out here more now and will probably be shooting you questions here from time to time. You do this so well. Great to see you at ASJA, too!
