What does it take to make it as a self-employed writer? Call in to a free teleclass on freelance writing on Monday, April 28, at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT, and find out.
I am speaking on the call along with three other long-time business journalists. The teleclass is hosted by the Society of American Business Editors and Writers (SABEW), a professional group for staff and self-employed reporters.
Daniel P. Ray, editor in chief of CreditCards.com, is moderating the hour-long class. Other speakers are Jennie Phipps, freelance writer and owner of the Freelance Success website; and freelance technology reporter Jonathan Blum.
We’ll kick off the hour by sharing a few minute of tips and advice on things like finding and hanging onto clients, etc., then open it up for questions.
The class is free but you need to sign up. Here’s the Eventbrite page with all the details: SABEW April Teletraining: Freelance Training – Secrets to Success,” Monday, April 28 2 p.m. ET.
Hope to see you there!
