Take this short survey: What WordCount ebooks would you read?

Vote sticker

I created WordCount a little more than seven years ago to share what I’ve learned working as a staff reporter and freelance writer. Now I’m compiling some of WordCount’s most popular posts into what I hope will be the first of several WordCount ebooks covering writing, blogging and running a freelance business.

But I need your help. Please take this very short survey to let me know which subjects I should tackle first, how I should organize the material, and how much I should charge.

You’ll probably find a wide range of replies. At my stage of the game, all I want is a MUCH higher income.

Thanks Caitlin. I’ve attained a higher income by doing a mix of writing, editing and project management for both traditional media companies and others. This year I am making it my goal to stay at that level, but do more work that really excites me. One of those projects is – finally – working on the ebook series that I’ve been talking about for several years.

I’ve gone for the Research combo option but what I would really want is one on self- editing, proofing, common errors and clichés to avoid.

Thanks for letting me know; I’d planned to include all of those things in both a full-length ebook and mini ebook on writing basics.
