More Spring Training – U. Texas Online Journalism Symposium

Here’s another tidbit on the subject of teaching yourself about online news. The University of Texas at Austin is hosting its annual International Symposium on Online Journalism today and tomorrow, April 4 and 5. Seminars will cover topics such as how online journalists can take advantage of the Web’s multimedia capabilities, and social networking and user-generated content.

But you don’t have to be in Texas to attend. Students in the university’s multimedia journalism class will be covering it in real time. You can read stories on the site. Or tune into the live Webcast here.
