Reminder: #wclw writer chat today @ 10 am PT/1 pm ET

stack of books

Join us for today’s WordCount writer chat where we’ll be discussing books that inspire us — books on writing, and book that motivate us to be better writers.

The chat starts at 10 a.m. Pacific time/1 p.m. Eastern time. Use #wclw to join the conversation.

Books that Inspire

We’ll kick off the 60-minute chat with a quick round of introductions, and then I’ll ask some pre-set questions. Here are the pre-set questions:

  • Q1: What are your favorite books on writing, and why?
  • Q2: What fiction or non-fiction books do you read for inspiration and why?
  • Q3:  When do you read: bedtime? On the subway? On vacation? Anywhere, any time?
  • Q4: Which do you prefer, print or e-books? If you like e-books, what e-book reader do you use, and why?

Joining a Twitter Chat

If you’ve never participated in a Twitter chat before, it’s easier than you think. Log onto Twitter and then search on the hashtag to follow the tweets or add one of your own. Or use a Twitter add-on such as TweetChat, which shows all of the chat tweets in a separate window and automatically adds the hashtag to your tweets. Read more here: How to join a Twitter chat.

Think about the questions, get your answers ready, and I’ll see you today at 10 a.m. Pacific time/1 p.m. Eastern time.

Got an idea for a #wclw chat, or would you like to participate as a guest speaker? Send your idea or bio to me at wordcountfreelance@gmail.com.
