Do over: WordCount live chat today at 1 p.m. PDT

My attempts to host the first ever WordCount Last Wednesday live chat were stymied last week when Twitter bogged down due to unexpected technical difficulties. Don’t you hate when that happens?

So we’re going to try it again. Join me today, Wednesday, July 7, at 1 p.m. Pacific time, for a one-hour live chat on the glories of WordPress. Writer and blog designer Ron S. Doyle will join me to answer your questions about the popular blogging software, which is fast becoming the de facto industry standard.

Follow the conversation using the hash tag #wclw, which stands for WordCount Last Wednesday. If you don’t already use Twitter through an interface such as HootSuite or TweetDeck, the chat might be easier to follow if you log on through a program like TweetChat (which is what I’ll be using) or TweetGrid (also good).

See you at 1 p.m. PDT. This post I wrote last week about the chat outlines the agenda, and has details on upcoming speakers.

Cross your fingers Twitter doesn’t choke again.
