You’re invited to the 2010 WordCount Blogathon June 1 wrap party

You are cordially invited to celebrate the end of the 2010 WordCount Blogathon!

WHAT: The WordCount Blogathon Wrap Party & Announcement of Prize Winners

WHEN: Tuesday, June 1, 2010, 8:30 PT. We’ll have a Q & A session to discuss what we loved, what we learned and what we’d do differently next time. Then we’ll move on to the prize announcements (see details below). Plan for approximately 60 minutes.

WHERE: Twitter. Use the #Blog2010 hashtag to follow along.

WHY: Because after 31 straight days of blogging, you deserve a little fun!

WHO: Anyone’s invited – even if you didn’t succeed in blogging all 31 days. This is a time to celebrate, commiserate and share what you learned.

PRIZES: At the end of the party, I’ll be announcing randomly selected winners of more than $1,200 in prizes donated by 2010 WordCount Blogathon sponsors. Winners will be drawn from among blogathon participants who blogged all 31 days.

RSVP: No need to RSVP, just show up at 8:30 a.m. PT.

TECH TALK: Although it’s possible to use the standard Twitter interface for a live party of this nature, you might find it easier to follow along with an add-on application such as TweetGrid, TweetChat or HootSuite. Here’s a great tutorial that explains some: Twitter tutorial: how to participate in a Twitter party

See you on Tuesday!
