If you like blogging every day, try NaBloPoMo

I wish I’d heard of Eden Marriott Kennedy a month ago. Kennedy is the creator of National Blog Post Month or NaBloPoMo for short, a Website for people who’ve taken up the challenge of blogging every day.

That should sounds familiar to regular readers of this blog, which I took through my own blogathon during the month of May. If I would have known about NaBloPoMo back then, I would have signed up.

In 2006 when Kennedy started NoBloPoMo in 2006, she got 2,000 bloggers to participate, according to her Website bio. In 2007 it was 6,000.

If you’re a daily blogger, you can join anytime. NaBloPoMo has a monthly theme, member forum, blogrolls, blog of the week, and prizes. Here’s what you do: NaBloPoMo is based on Ning, the social network platform, so to join one you have to join the other. The sign up page is here. Once you’ve signed up and created a profile you can put a cute NaBloPoMo badge up on your blog proclaiming yourself a member.

Happy blogging!
