Ironically my work in the old media has picked up considerably -- newspapers and magazines -- but long term I don&#039;t think we can count on this for our livelihoods. Which is why I&#039;m involved in a new hyperlocal website -- Berkeleyside.com -- which isn&#039;t providing income yet, but I hope one day soon will. Local is the way to go -- for traditional media too -- as you&#039;ve pointed out yourself.</description>
